Overview
This 8-day Uganda safari combines the best of primate encounters and classic wildlife experiences. You will explore Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. From rhino tracking, chimpanzee trekking, and game drives, to gorilla trekking and boat cruises, this safari offers a complete Ugandan adventure for nature lovers.
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Kampala
- Arrive at Entebbe International Airport, where our driver-guide will welcome you.
- Transfer to your hotel in Kampala for relaxation and safari briefing.
- If time allows, you can enjoy a short tour of Kampala city.

Day 2: Kampala – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls National Park
- After breakfast, set off for Murchison Falls National Park.
- En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking.
- Continue to Masindi for lunch before proceeding into the park.
- Visit the top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile forces through a narrow gorge.
- Proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Game Drive & Boat Safari – Murchison Falls
- Begin with an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile. Spot elephants, lions, giraffes, leopards, buffalo, and antelopes.
- Return to the lodge for breakfast and relax.
- In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls, where you will see hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife.
- Optional hike to the top of the falls for breathtaking views.

Day 4: Murchison Falls – Kibale National Park
- After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive southwards to Kibale National Park, home to over 13 primate species.
- Lunch en route and enjoy the beautiful countryside.
- Arrive in the evening, check into your lodge, and relax.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
- After an early breakfast, head for chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest. Expect thrilling encounters with chimps and sightings of other primates such as red-tailed monkeys and colobus monkeys.
- Return for lunch and then drive south to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
- Enjoy a scenic evening game drive as you enter the park.

Day 6: Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise – Queen Elizabeth NP
- Start with a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. Look out for lions, elephants, buffalo, antelopes, and more.
- Return to the lodge for breakfast and relaxation.
- In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famous for its high concentration of hippos, crocodiles, and bird species.
- Optional evening game drive after the cruise.

Day 7: Ishasha Sector – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
- After breakfast, drive through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth NP, known for its tree-climbing lions.
- Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home of the endangered mountain gorillas.
- Arrive in the evening, check into your lodge, and prepare for gorilla trekking.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking – Return to Kampala/Entebbe – Departure
- After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for briefing.
- Begin your gorilla trekking adventure in the misty forest, which may take 2–6 hours depending on gorilla movements.
- Spend an incredible hour with the gorillas, observing their behavior and taking photos.
- Return to the lodge for lunch before driving back to Kampala/Entebbe for your evening departure.
