This 8-day Central Circuit trek takes you through lush montane forests, bamboo zones, giant heathers, and alpine meadows, culminating in awe-inspiring glacial views. Day 1: Arrival in Kasese – Trek to Nyakalengija
- Arrive in Kasese, where your guide and porters will meet you.
- Transfer to the Rwenzori trailhead at Nyakalengija.
- After a briefing, start trekking through montane forest toward Nyakalengija Camp.
- Overnight camping amidst the serene forest environment.

Day 2: Nyakalengija – Mubuku Base Camp
- Trek through dense montane forest with towering trees, orchids, and birds.
- Cross rivers and enjoy the lush greenery as you ascend gradually.

- Prepare for the more challenging high-altitude sections ahead.

Day 3: Mubuku Base – Bujuku Hut (3,400m)

- Afternoon at leisure to acclimatize.

- Short acclimatization walks in the area.

Day 6: Elena Hut – Summit of Mount Stanley – Return to Elena Hut
- Early start for a summit attempt of Mount Stanley (4,890m), the highest peak in the Rwenzori Mountains.

- After summit, descend back to Elena Hut for rest.

- Begin your descent, retracing the route through Bujuku Hut to Mubuku Base Camp.
