Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Kampala

  • On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our safari guide.
  • Transfer to your hotel in Kampala for relaxation and a safari briefing.
  • Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short city tour.

Day 2: Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park (via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary)

  • After breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls National Park with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking.
  • Have lunch en route before proceeding to the park.
  • Visit the top of Murchison Falls for a breathtaking view of the Nile squeezing through a 7m gorge before plunging into a thunderous waterfall.
  • Continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Game Drive & Nile Boat Safari – Murchison Falls

  • Begin the day with an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile. Spot elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, buffalo, Jackson’s hartebeest, and Uganda kobs.
  • Return to the lodge for a late breakfast and relaxation.
  • In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of the falls. Look out for hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species including kingfishers and fish eagles.
  • Optional hike to the top of the falls for incredible photo opportunities.

Day 4: Murchison Falls – Kibale National Park

  • After breakfast, drive southwards through scenic countryside and traditional homesteads towards Kibale National Park—the primate capital of the world.
  • Arrive in the evening and check into your lodge.
  • Enjoy a relaxed dinner as you prepare for chimpanzee tracking the following day.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

  • After an early breakfast, head into the forest for chimpanzee tracking in Kibale. Spot chimpanzees swinging in the trees and listen to their thrilling calls.
  • You may also see other primates such as red-tailed monkeys, black-and-white colobus, and grey-cheeked mangabeys.
  • After lunch, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, famous for its diverse ecosystems and wildlife.
  • Evening game drive en route to your lodge.

Day 6: Morning Game Drive – Ishasha Tree-Climbing Lions – Departure

  • Start the day with an early game drive through the Kasenyi plains in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Expect sightings of elephants, buffaloes, lions, antelopes, and several bird species.
  • Continue to the Ishasha sector, renowned for its tree-climbing lions.
  • After lunch, drive back to Kampala/Entebbe for your onward flight.
